Allison Michelle Craven Kennedy's Obituary

Allison Michelle Craven Kennedy was born December 21, 1974 at Wilson N. Jones Hospital to Aneva and Michael Craven. In the early morning of September 11, 2015, Allison went with grace to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

As a young teenager, Allison helped with the motherly duties for her three younger siblings, Jason, Ferran and Cameron. She later went on to have two of her own Morgan Rose and Connor Dean Michael. She thoroughly applied her motherly skills as a single mother until she met the love of her life, Anthony "Tony" Kennedy. They joined not only the hearts and souls of themselves but of their perspective children. They were married September 10, 2005 and celebrated their ten year anniversary just one day before her passing.

Her second love, other than her family, was her career. She graduated from Sherman high school in 1992 and went on to get her nursing degree from Grayson College, and then on to her bachelors of science in nursing from the University of Texas, Arlington. As a nurse she wore many hats. She worked in rehab, ER and OR. She was very passionate about helping victims of abuse and was excited to except a highly sought after position working with these victims in the upcoming month.

Allison was preceded in death by her grandparents Horace and Mary Francis Craven, A.L. and Elfrieda Parker; father Michael Craven.

Survivors include husband Anthony Kennedy; mother Aneva Lemons, stepfather Kevin Lemons, stepmother Sharon Craven; mother-in-law Charlotte Kennedy; daughter Morgan Kennedy, son Connor Holman; stepdaughter Andrea Kennedy, stepson Ethan Kennedy; brother Jason Craven, and wife Caroline Craven; sister Ferran Campbell and husband Jacob Campbell; brother Cameron Lemons; nieces Riley Craven, and Catherine Switzer; many cousins; best friends Shelly Pilcher and Courtney Adams; and numerous other family and friends.

Services to celebrate Allison's life will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 19th, at the First Baptist Church with Jeremy Bollens officiating. She will be laid to rest at Akers Cemetery with Connor Holman, Jason Craven, Cameron Lemons, Kevin Lemons, Kip Lemons, and Jacob Campbell serving as casketbearers.
