Addison (Addie) Michelle Branum, 20 years old, of Denison, TX, passed away Saturday August 31st, 2024, from injuries sustained from an automobile accident.
Addie was born October 30th, 2003, in Denison. Her parents are Jason Ray Branum and Amanda (Mandy) Rachelle Nelson.
Addie was a 2022 graduate of Denison High School. She was salutatorian of her graduating class and was president of National Honors Society. She then moved on to be a student at Texas Woman's University, where she earned a spot on the Chancellor's List with a 4.0 GPA and was also invited to be a member of the Athenian Honors Society where she worked on multiple committees, including the AHS Fundraising and AHS Outreach committee, to better her school and community. Addie was in the pre-med program at TWU studying to become a pediatric oncologist where she hoped to better the world one patient at a time.
Addie enjoyed reading, caring for all kinds of animals, spending time with friends and family, and finding beauty in all things around her. She loved being in nature with her loved ones. Whether it was camping, swimming, traveling to beautiful places, or watching the sunset, she found joy in every moment.
She is survived by her mother, Mandy Nelson of Denison, her father and stepmother, Jason and Misti Branum of Sadler, brother, Mason Branum of Denison, stepbrother, Rylen Townsend of Sadler, Grandparents, Mike Nelson and Rachel Nelson of Pottsboro and Vicki and Harold Branum of Denison and Arnold and Pam Ramey of Denison.
Also surviving Addie are her aunts and uncles, Steve and Leann Nelson of Denison, Kevin and LeeAnn Branum of Pottsboro, John and Wendy Geesling of Denison, Todd and Kim Bass of Denison.
Cousins Mycah and Erik Osiniski of Denison, Cassie and Max Milks of Denison, Stephen and Natillie Nelson of Denison, Destinie and Jaydynn Branum of Pottsboro, Jonathan and Ryan Geesling of Denison, and Emileigh Burgess of Denison.
The love of her life Colby Robert Morse of Argyle and best friend Avery Elizabeth Martin of Sherman.

A celebration of Addie's life will be held at 5:00 pm, Friday, November 15th, 2024 at Trinity Lighthouse, 2915 Spur 503, Denison, TX 75020.
