Al was a proud United States Navy veteran who served aboard the USS Boston. He carried great pride in his military service and love for his country throughout his life.
He was married to the love of his life, Lillian Ruth Willmon Langley, for almost 65 years, and together they built a family that became the pride and joy of his life.

Dee and Craig Keel of San Benito, Texas Cecil Langley of Howe, Texas Cynthia and Roy Carter of Sherman
He also leaves behind seven grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly, along with his dachshund, Buddy; and his brother, Jesse Harold Langley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Lois Langley, and his sister, Rita Metcalf.
Al was a regular fixture around the communities of Howe and Sherman, always with his dog, Buddy. He will be remembered for his devotion to family, his strong work ethic, kindness, patriotism, and the many memories shared with those who knew and loved him.
