IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Alice Agnes
Pair
July 10, 1947 – May 24, 2024
Alice Pair, a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, friend, and nurse, passed away on May 24th, 2024, at the age of
76. Born on July 10th, 1947, in Hollywood, California, to Frances and Charles Todd, her family moved to Texas when she was a little girl. She grew up in Tyler, Texas, and married Johnny Fikes. Alice eventually planted her roots in Texas where they lived. She and Johnny had three children: Cindy Fikes, John Fikes, and Dee Dee Fikes. When he passed away, she moved to Denison, Texas, where she graduated from nursing school.
A caring soul, Alice dedicated 30 years of her life to nursing, putting the needs of others before her own. When not working, she found great joy in being surrounded by her family and friends. Alice had a flair for decorating and took pride in making her apartments look beautiful.
She also enjoyed the simple pleasure of shopping and getting the family together for some quality family time.
Above all, Alice was a fighter who sacrificed so much to ensure her family was taken care of.
She was resilient, facing life's challenges head-on with incredible strength and perseverance. In her final years, Alice fought courageously, but ultimately, she was called to reunite with her loved ones who preceded her in death.
To her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, her unconditional love, guidance, and support were invaluable gifts that will be deeply missed and forever cherished. Alice leaves behind a legacy of compassion, resilience, and selflessness that will continue to inspire all who knew her. While her physical presence may be gone, Alice's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will be cherished for generations to come.
Alice's legacy will forever be etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her strength, love, and unwavering commitment to her family and friends will continue to inspire all who were touched by her presence. Your love and light will forever guide Us.
Alice is survived by her three children: Cindy Fikes, John Fikes, and Dee Dee Fikes; her two sisters, Betty Betty Zeito Dolores Karnes. And her seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren, 10 nephews and nieces.
Preceded in death are her mother, Frances, Todd, and her dad Charles, Todd, and her brother, George Todd and her nephew, Matthew Zeito, and Mario Zeito.
