IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Alma F.
Algwaider
May 5, 1959 – November 1, 2025
Alma Fuentes Algwaider
A Legacy of Love and Light
Passed away November 1st, 2025 at the age of 66.
For those of us who had the privilege of knowing her, we know that to speak of Alma is to speak of a force of nature wrapped in kindness, a true testament to the power of a generous spirit.
Alma was many things to many people.
Survived by: Her daughter Victoria, Son-In-Law Jesse, Grandchildren, Mercedes and Xavier, Siblings, Irene, Irma, Lila, Crissy, and Refugio. An aunt to many and a loyal friend. But above all, she was a person of compassion and incredible strength.
She was brilliantly smart, always curious, and had a quick wit that could light up any room. She was the person you turned to for advice or just a wonderful conversation. Yet, that sharp mind was always guided by an enormous heart. Alma had a genuine gift for seeing the best in people and making everyone around her feel valued and truly seen.
Alma faced challenges with a quiet dignity and an unwavering resolve. She went through unimaginable trials with bravery and strength where most would have given up.
She taught us all that courage isn't the absence of fear, but the triumph over it, especially when it came to protecting and providing for the people she loved. She was our purpose and she leaves behind a beautiful legacy carried on by her daughter, grandchildren and many more. They are the living embodiment of her best qualities—her warmth, her intelligence, and her capacity for love.
While the loss of Alma leaves a void in our lives that can never be filled, we can find comfort in the countless memories she gave us: the hearty laughter, the comforting embrace, and the silent, knowing look that told us everything was going to be alright.
Let us honor Alma by carrying forward the light she shared. Let's strive to be a little smarter, a little more compassionate, and a whole lot braver, just like she was.
We love you, Alma. Rest in peace. Forever in our hearts.
