Graveside Services for Alton Glen Morphew, age 94, of Denison, Texas will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Chapel on the Hill- Cedarlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home. Reverend Bobby Hawkins, Pastor of Luella First Baptist Church will officiate. Glen passed away Friday, February 23, 2024 lovingly surrounded by family.

He was born on October 4, 1929, the son of Alvernon and Genivia Morphew. Glen married the love of his life, Mary, on June 23, 1950. They spent 72 years together. He enjoyed farming and gardening.

Glen is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mary, grandson Derek Gibson, and sister Faye Rivard.

He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Nicholas, son, Randy Morphew, sister, Venita Kirby, grandson, Kenny Archibald, great granddaughter, Taylor Heath, great-great grandkids, Alorah and Greyson Heath and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Waldo Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from 6-8 p.m..
