Ann Leigh Harris, age 84 passed away with loved ones by her side on July 8, 2023 In Plano, Texas.

She was born on October 5, 1938 in Augsburg Germany the daughter of Erwin and Anna Gumm Widmann.

Ann Married Jack Harris on May 4, 1957, in Augsburg, Germany. They were married for 30 years when he preceded her in death in 1987. Ann became an American Citizen in July 7, 1966. Her husband served in the US Army for 20 years. She enjoyed the military life. Ann volunteered for the Red Cross and helped with luncheons and tea parties. She loved traveling and all the military life entailed. When her husband retired, they moved back to Jack's hometown of Tom Bean. She really missed the military life. Ann loved telling all the stories of her adventures and friends they met. Everyone knew her with her red lipstick, red nail's and always dressing nice.

Ann is survived by her son, Larry Harris of Whitewright, son, John Harris and wife Sally of Luella and daughter, Susie Harris and Dwayne Morin of Leonard, grandchildren, Mandy Pennington of Sherman, Jennifer Harris of Tom Bean, James Harris of Whitewright, Bridgette Burchfield and Brandi Langford, great grandchildren, Madison Harris Rumiantsev, Lexi Shields, Britin Merrell, Cayden Wilks, Ryliegh Ottmo, Brookylnn Osborne and Audrey Langford, great great grandchild, Nikolai Runiantsey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandchild, Lindsay Harris and her brother Erwin..

A celebration of life gathering will be held on August 12th at 12:00 noon at the Luella First Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall.
