Anna was born Wednesday, May 26, 1920 near Howe, Texas to Orvil and Myra Walker and went into the presence of the Lord on Saturday, February 8th 2014 in Sherman. She was a graduate of Sherman High School in 1937. Anna married Douglas Norris on Thursday, November 17, 1938. She later pursued her LVN and graduated from the School of Nursing in 1957. She worked at Wilson N. Jones Hospital, and Medical and

Surgical Clinic for Dr. Wm McFarland as a dental assistant retiring in 1980. Mrs. Norris was a charter member of Woods Street Church of Christ.

Mrs. Norris was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Douglas of 70 years of marriage.

She is survived by her daughter Martha Reed and husband John of Collierville, TN, son Harold Norris and wife Jennie of Wichita Falls, TX, and daughter Nancy Cox and husband Kenneth of Bonham, TX; seven grandchildren Rob Reed, Angela Hicks and husband Chris, Chris Norris and wife Mandy, Michael Norris and wife Ashley, David Norris, Kevin Cox and wife Melanie, and Kyle Cox and wife Ashley; and 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services to celebrate Mrs. Norris' life will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, Feb. 12, at Waldo Funeral Home chapel with Bill Mayes and Jon Smith officiating. She will be laid to rest at Cedarlawn Memorial Park with grandsons serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the services on Wednesday in the chapel.
