Arcadio Galvan passed from this life January 21, 2023, at his son's home in Whitewright, Tx.

He was born January 12, 1931, in Laredo, Texas. His parents were Tiburcio and Teresa (Sepulveda) Galvan. He was raised in Laredo, Texas. There he met his wife Martha Maria Perez. They were married in Laredo.

Arcadio was a maintenance man at Willow Bend Polo Club for many years. His true love was farming and his animals.

Survivors are his son, Daniel Galvan and his wife Julie of Whitewright; son, David Galvan and his wife Joni of Thermal, California; son, Alfredo Galvan and his wife Janet of Austin, Tx; daughter, Martha Thomas of Gunter; son, Michael Galvan of West Palm Beach, Florida; son, George Galvan of Aiken, South Carolina; daughter, Rosa Shannon and her husband Scott of Van Alstyne, Tx.; sister, Lupe Galvan of San Antonio, Tx. Also, surviving are 14 grandchildren,Christine, Alyssa, Kelly, Brijette, Joshua, Bailey, Michael Joseph, Cassandra, Maya Quinn, Bennett, Ashley, James, Emily and Sara; 4 great-grandchildren, Kolby, Kaleb, Ava and David Vincent; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Arcadio was preceded in death by his wife, Martha; his parents, Tiburcio and Teresa; sisters, Carmen and Mercedes; brothers, Fracisco, Jose, Pedro, and Jesus, and a grandson, Allyn.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
