Barbara Ann (Miller) Chapin

Sherman- Funeral for Barbara Ann (Miller) Chapin will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, TX.   Rev. Weldon Hutson will officiate.   Following the service she will be buried next to her husband Leon Chapin at Cedarlawn Memorial in Sherman, TX.   Mrs. Chapin, 87, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2023 at her home.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Waldo Funeral Home.

Barbara was born February 5, 1935 in Richardson to the late Raymond and Effie (McGee) Miller.  She graduated from Richardson High School in 1954. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, crafts and family time and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Howe.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Effie Miller, and her husband, Leon Chapin.  She is survived by her children, Randy and his wife Nancy (McShane) Chapin of Arlington, Beverly Chapin of Sherman, and Jeff Chapin of McKinney; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren, one aunt Jean Miller, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
