Obituary

Barbara Jeannette Noble, age 83, crossed over to be with the Lord on September 17, 2021, after a courageous battle with Lewy Body dementia.

Barbara was born on October 19, 1937 in the Western Oklahoma town of Arapaho, to Otha Lee and Hubert Kelley. By their example, Barbara began her path to a Godly life and service to the Lord. She remained committed to serving the Lord until He took her to live in His presence.

Most of Barbara's young life was spent in Clinton, Oklahoma, with her sister, Beverly, who paved the way to heaven for her in February of 2021. In Clinton, she also met and married her high school sweetheart, Buddy, who entered the gates of heaven in October of 1998. Through this marital union, they were blessed with three children, Diana, Greg, and Kelley. Four grandchildren were added to the family through the addition of Blake, son of Diana and J.L. Boudreaux; Bailey, Mia, and Lynlee, daughters of Kelley and Melissa Pitzer.

After several years of widowhood, Barbara married Dr. Jack Noble, a long-term educator and business man, who had lost his wife, Carolyn, sometime earlier. This marriage to Jack brought additions to their family dynamic with Jay and Lydia Noble, their children Jacob and Sarah, and eventually, Hallie, Jacob's wife.

During this blessed union of marriage between Jack and Barbara, the two stayed committed to their Godly ways by serving in various capacities at First Baptist Church in Sherman, Texas.

All of the family would like to humbly thank Grayson Home Hospice for their unbelievable care, love, and concern for Barbara in her final days.

A private family burial service, officiated by Dr. Lawson of First Baptist Church, will be held at West Hill Cemetery on September 21, 2021. The memorial service for all who would like to pay their respects will be held at First Baptist Church of Sherman at 2:00 pm, on September 21, 2021.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Sherman – Ministry of Encouragement, a group Barbara was dedicated to serving over many years of her life or to Grayson Home Hospice, who showed amazing grace in Barbara's final days.
