Barbara Gale Robbins was born February 9th, 1949, in Grayson County, Texas to Aubrey Leo Stubblefield and Lillie Norene Hudson Smallwood. She grew up in Whitesboro where she later met her husband and moved to Collinsville, TX.

Barbara married Michael Claude Robbins on June 23rd, 1994, in Sherman, TX. They celebrated 30 lasting years of marriage together. They enjoyed family camping trips, boating outings, firework shows at the farm, hayrides, and bringing everyone together for family suppers.  Michael survives her death in continuance of spreading her love and joy to the entire family.

Barbara brought so much light to the family. She is survived by her husband Michael Claude Robbins, her son, Michael "Shane" Stubblefield and wife Melissa, her five step-children, Michael Claude Robbins II, Tina Oley (Basinger), Joey Robbins, Betty Jean Gunset, and Samantha Burrow all residing in Oklahoma and Texas, sixteen grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren and brother, Ronnie Stubblefield. Barbara also has copious amounts of extended family and friends that she so dearly loved and will in return miss her greatly.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Aubrey Leo Stubblefield, Lillie Norene Hudson Smallwood, her sister Sylvia Skinner, her brother Billie Ray Smallwood, step-daughter in law Melanie Robbins, and great grandchild Ayden Oakley Galloway.

Pallbearers are grandson's and in-laws including Matthew Crittenden, Jonny Crittenden, Micheal Claude Robbins III, Patrick Meighen, Michael Franklin, and Fernando Valencia Bernal.

Barbara, commonly known as "Meme," was the glue of the family. Her values included God, Faith, Family, Friendship, Animals, and Caretaking. She had the kindest and softest heart for all, especially children and animals, and felt it was her duty to provide in any way she could. Even in times of financial hardship, Barbara made unwavering monthly donations to St. Jude Research Hospital for Children and in her free time, she would travel nearly 15 miles to the neighboring town's sonic just to feed the local cats. As a chosen profession, Barbara embodied what it means to be a caretaker. She spent countless hours providing love, support, and physical care to elderly, disabled, and family friends. Barbara and Michael were beyond generous by extending their home to numerous family members in times of need, without hesitation. Barbara is remembered for her hosting and planning of family functions, gatherings, holidays, and even the weekend game nights that were all filled with laughter, love, and playful bantering. We will miss her humor, funny faces, laugh, and contagious smile. Barbara created lasting memories with everyone and her Angel will be forever watching over us all.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking memorial donations be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital of Research. Donations can be made at stjude.org or mailed to 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in the form of check or money order.
