Betty Dalton

Sherman- Funeral services for Betty E. Dalton will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 5 at Waldo Funeral Home. Welton Stoker of the Parkview Church of Christ will officiate. Entombment will be in the Chapel on The Hill at Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Dalton passed away Wednesday, December 2 in Dallas at the age of 93.

Betty was born on May 26, 1916 in Sherman to the late Harry and Lilly (Porter) Orr. She attended Sherman schools and married Charles Dalton on October 18, 1946 at the Walnut Street Church of Christ. Betty was a devoted homemaker. She and Charles were married nearly 56 years when he passed away on September 18, 2002. She was a longtime member of the Parkview Church of Christ.

Mrs. Dalton is survived by her son Don Dalton and his wife Karen of Dallas; two grandchildren, Joshua Dalton and wife Amy of Oklahoma City and Rachel Dalton of Grand Prairie; two great grandchildren, Wyatt and Eli Dalton of Oklahoma City; sister, Ruby Kumler of Sherman; sister-in-law, Mary O'Neal of Sherman; and several nieces, nephews, and other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, and one sister.
