Bobby Gene Nelson Jr. of Sherman, Texas was called to heaven on August 16,2022 at the age of 58.

He was born January 16,1964 to Patsy and Bobby Nelson Sr in Whitewright, Texas.

He was married to his beautiful best friend, his wife, Kay Nelson for 32yrs.

Bobby was a hard worker at whatever job was working. He worked at Herald Democrat for 22yrs. Then, he was self-employed.

He loved fishing, going out to eat with his children, and cook outs with his son. He was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys and Texas Ranger fan. He had a very playful caring soul with a true southern gentleman attitude. He was a one who would give you his shirt off his back. He was a truly a dear soul and will be missed beyond anything words could express.

Bobby is survived by his mom, Patsy Nelson; his sister, Sheley Saenz and Fred Smith; his brother, Randy Nelson and his wife Penny; 2 half siblings, Philip and his wife Christine Nelson, and Janet Aldridge.

He is also survived by his 3 wonderful children, Kevin Lemonds, Ashley Pinacho and her spouse Marcus Davis, and Anthony Nelson and his wife Samantha, and his 8 amazing grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephew, all of whom he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his Dad, Bobby Nelson Sr., and his brother, Rick Nelson, along with multiple nieces and nephews.

His memorial service will be held 4pm, Saturday, August 27 ^th at Heritage Church of Nazerene, 601 FM 1417 Sherman, TX 75092.
