Bradford James Peden

(September 29. 1956 – August 22, 2021)

Brad passed away suddenly at his home on August 22, 2021.  He was born on September 29, 1956 to James Crain Peden and Loretta Sue (Rollins) Peden in Coalinga CA.

Guns were one of Brad's passions.  They were his business and his hobby.  He worked at Smith & Alexander on  gun parts for over 20 years and prior to that was at Targetmaster Shooting Range.  He did sheet rocking, texturing and finish work when he first came to Texas.  While being raised and living in California, he worked at the family café (Peden's) in Huron, CA.

Brad was always busy.  Either mowing and taking care of our property, shooting with friends, reloading ammo, watching some TV or playing games on the computer.  Meeting our friends on Saturdays were the highlight of the week for him.  It was his chance to socialize and decompress.

Brad was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife Kathy, stepson Justin Wyatt and his wife Ashley, son Bradford (BJ) Peden and wife Keryn, daughters Tonya Peden and Jennifer Peden.  Ten grandchildren-Josh (BJ), Jimmy, Jonathon, Brandy and Gabby (Tonya), Timberly, Shelbie and Tristain (Jennifer), Cadence and Colby (Justin).  He is also survived by his brother Geoffrey Peden and friends Carl, Alan, John, Nancy and Sharon.
