Brenda Sue Nobles, known as Honey to most, went to be with our Lord and Savior, Sunday, November 26, 2023, at TMC hospital surrounded by loved ones. She was 81 years old at the time of her passing.
She was born November 2, 1942, in Sherman, Texas, to Otis Leverette and Zona (Roland) Leverette. She attended Sherman High School. She worked at Washington Irons works doing HR and payroll.
Honey married Jackie Wayne Nobles in Sherman, Texas at Calvary Baptist Church on April 7, 1978.
Brenda and Jackie lived in Sherman, Texas. Everyone was welcome and Honey was always preparing a good meal. Honey was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church where she attended since childhood.
Honey was full of love and joy for all, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed camping, gardening, reading a good book, and sitting by a fire. Her favorite places to go were the deer camp and Beavers Bend where she could spend quality time with family. She was always a woman on the go and would routinely have lunch with the girls, visit family, or make a trip to the casino or shopping.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Jackie nobles; son Chris Watson and wife Tina, son Greg Watson and wife Rhonda, son Dusty Nobles and wife Gracia, and daughter Shannon Nobles; grandchildren Brandon Watson and girlfriend Christin, Chad Watson and wife Bethany, Amanda Jensen, Tiffani Holder and husband Eldon, Corie Watson, Tony Nobles and wife Megan, Brennon Peden and husband John, Taylor Nobles and Jared Nobles, Lauren Nobles, Josephine Nobles and Emilia Nobles. Brenda is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, family and friends.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Zona; son, Barry Ray Watson and granddaughter, Tisha L. Miller Weeks.
Family visitation will be held 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Thursday, November 30th at Waldo Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held at 11am Friday, December 1st at Calvary Baptist Church, with Pastor Sean Clark and Pastor Kevin George officiating.
