Obituary

Brian Lee Bell passed away Sunday, December 1 at the age of 56.  A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM Friday December 6 at Waldo Funeral Home.  A celebration of his life will immediately follow at the North Rig Grill in Denison.

Brian was born October 25, 1968, in Sherman, Texas to the late Don Ray Bell and Elna (Stone) Terry.  He graduated from Sherman High School in 1987, where he was a multi-sport athlete and friend to all. He went on to attend the University of North Texas and later became the owner of the North Rig Grill in Denison for many years.

His family, friends, and dogs, Bella and Lucy, meant the world to him. He held a special place in his heart for his extended family at the Rig and City Limits, as well as the countless customers who became lifelong friends over the years. He will be remembered for his generosity, loyalty, work ethic, and of course, his love for the Dallas Cowboys and the Sherman Bearcats.

His daughter, Lourden, and his fiancé, Andrea, will miss him very much, but they are thankful for all the fun times and memories they shared with him that will last a lifetime. He was, as Lourden would say, "the bestest."

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, William Bell, and his wife, Kim Veeck-Bell.  He is survived by his daughter Lourden Bell and her fiancé Jack Johnson of Overland Park, Kansas; his fiancé, Andrea McCormack of Denison and her two sons, Mason and Connor.
