Bryan Scott Russell, 50 years old, of Dodd City, Tx, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023.

He was born April 11, 1972, in Sherman, Tx, the son of Donald Marvel and Kathryn (Beam) Russell. He graduated from Sherman High School.

He married Audra Laraine Jackson on August 10, 2002, in Sherman.

Bryan was a Control Specialist at Emerson in Sherman. He loved hunting and spending time outdoors.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Audra Jackson-Russell of Dodd City, Tx; Sons, Grayson Russell of Dodd City, Tx, Jake Wilson and wife, Amber of Dodd City; Daughter, Tara Tonihka and husband, Gavin of Celeste, Tx; Sister, Tara Morifugi and husband, Mark of Mililani, Hawaii; three grandchildren, Madilyn, Lynleigh and Milo; Mother, Kathryn Melching and husband, Wayne of Port St. Lucie, Florida; his best friend of more than 40 years, Stephen "Tick" Ticknor and wife, Penny of Sherman; numerous nieces and nephews.

Bryan was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Lloyd and Mabel Beam.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 20 ^th , from 6 to 8 pm at Waldo Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held 2 pm Saturday at Trinity Baptist Church in Sherman. Officiating will be Rev. Jason Anderson of Trinity Baptist Church.
