Tom Bean- Graveside funeral services with military honors for Roy Elton "Buddy" Rigsby, Jr. will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, March 20 at DFW National Cemetery. Mr. Rigsby, 69, passed away Wednesday, March 15 in his home near Tom Bean.
Buddy was born February 6, 1948 in Dallas to Roy Rigsby Sr. and Norma Jean (Smith) Rigsby. Buddy served three years in the US Air Force. He enjoyed golf, was an avid sports fan, and loved nothing more than watching his three grandsons compete in their many ballgames.
Mr. Rigsby is survived by his mother, Norma Jean Rigsby of Irving; one son, Kyle Rigsby and his wife Staci of Gunter; sister, Angie Rigsby Garrison of Irving; and three grandsons, Tyler, Bryson, and Kaden Rigsby of Gunter. He was preceded in death by his father.
