Funeral Services for Carl "Butch" Meek, age 76, of Sherman Texas, will be held at 10 am, Monday, November 17th at Waldo Funeral Home. Burial will follow at West Hill Cemetery. Butch passed peacefully away Thursday, November 13, 2025, surrounded by his wife and children.

Butch was born, March 7, 1949, in Sherman Texas to Carl Odell Meek Sr. And Betty Meek. He was an avid hunter, and a collector of knives, guns, and automobiles. Family was very important to Butch, he loved all of his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. Butch was the owner of Butch's Transmissions a long-time auto shop in Grayson County. Butch was proceeded in death by his parents Carl and Betty, wife Linda Meek of 42 years, son Ricky Lynn Smith, sisters Mary Ann, Tootsie, Sue, Linda, and Shirley, mother-in-law Lois Helms, and many Aunts and Uncles.

Butch is survived by: Wife Sherry Meek of Sherman, Tx, Brother Billy Meek of Oklahoma, Son Michael Meek and wife Coleen of Denison, Tx, Daughter Susan Croker and husband Robert of Denison, Tx, Son Dink Meek and wife Courtney of Sherman, Tx, Daughter Amy Jewitt of Spring Town, Tx, Son Chris Barrera of Denison, Tx, Daughter Summer Winters and husband Robert of Sherman, Tx, Daughter Sassy Starnes and husband TJ of Ravenna, Tx, Son Keaton Croker and wife Kendall of Gordonville, Tx, Daughter Carlie Thompson and husband Caleb of Sherman, Tx, Daughter Peaches Meek of Sherman, Tx, Son Cecil Helms of Denison, Tx. As well as 24 Grandchildren and 26 Great Grandchildren

Pallbearers will be Keaton, Mikey, Michael, Leto, Chris, and Dink.

Honorary Pallbearers will be John, TJ, and Tyler.

The family will receive friends immediately following the burial at the family's home.
