Carol Ann (Trott) Bailey passed away on January 28, 2025 in Sherman, Texas.

Carol was born on August 26, 1944 in Houston, Texas. Her parents Donald and Helen Trott were overjoyed that God had blessed them with a daughter since their previous births were two boys.

Early in her life, the family moved to Corpus Christi, Texas then later back to Houston followed by a move to Dallas. Carol's father passed away in Dallas which resulted in a permanent relocation to Sherman.

Carol attended all grades including graduating from Sherman High School. She developed many friends and believed that Sherman was a great place to grow up.

She loved to travel and counted several trips to Jamacia and Copper Canyon, Mexico as those places were of real interest to her.

Carol is survived by her brother Don Trott of Granbury, Texas, daughter Mona of Durant, Oklahoma, two grandchildren, three nieces, two nephews, two grand nieces and one great grand nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an older brother Bill.
