Carol Crowder

Bells- A memorial service for Carol Sue Brown Crowder will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 20 at Waldo Funeral Home. Dr. Eddy Johnson will officiate.  Mrs. Crowder, 74, passed away Friday, December 14 at Texoma Medical Center.

Carol was born October 28, 1944 in Marion, Ohio to the late Lawrence and Mildred (Ball) Gruhn. "Nanny Brown" as she was called by friends and family was a devoted homemaker.  She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed crocheting.  She was of the Baptist faith and will be remembered as a diligent prayer warrior who put everyone ahead of herself.

Mrs. Crowder is survived by two daughters, Theresa Footlander of Bells and Jennifer Smith of Sherman; one son, Michael Brown of Snyder, Texas; eight grandchildren, Jessica, Douglas, Gabriel, Jenilyn, Mercedes, Ashton, Bailey, and Chandler; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Brown; one brother, Richard Gruhn; and one sister, Nancy Rodriguez.
