C. LaNoel Bond was born in Pampa, Texas on July 15, 1940 to Cecil and Mary Helen Bond, and completed his earthly journey on November 26, 2025. After graduating college with an accounting degree, LaNoel was recruited into the Federal Bureau of Investigations where he worked for 13 years. Following his time at the FBI, LaNoel became Head of Security for Mobil Oil, and retired from Exxon/Mobil in 2002. As if catching bad guys for his whole career was not enough, LaNoel continued consulting with Pinkerton on criminal investigations into his retirement. He is remembered for his generous spirit, gentle humor, strength of character, and unwavering devotion to family and friends. LaNoel's life was marked by integrity, hard work, and a quiet kindness that made others feel seen and valued. He approached each day with gratitude and grace, and he leaves behind a legacy of love that endures in the lives he touched. LaNoel leaves behind his wife of 43 years Jerry Jo Bond, along with his daughter Michelle Bond Copelin and her husband Bill Dale Copelin, his daughter Tica Marie Taylor and her husband Robert Irvine Taylor, IV, and his sister Patricia Ann Whetsell and her husband Bob Whetsell. LaNoel is also survived by his three grandsons Benjamin Bond Copelin (and his wife Blair Aubrey Copelin), Luke LaNoel Taylor and Reed Robert Taylor, along with his sister-in-law Jo Ann Bond and numerous nieces and nephews. LaNoel was preceded in death by his brother, Olin Henry Bond.
