Obituary

Charles "Charlie" Glynn Bush loving husband, father, and papa went to see Jesus Tuesday morning, October 1st, 2024, at the age of 52 after a 12-year fight with Melanoma. He was a resident of Denison, Texas.

He is survived by his wife Janette Lynne Bush, his son Jordon Glynn Bush and his wife Desarae Bush, and his grandchildren Elijah and Kinslee Bush. He was preceded in death by his father Bola Glynn Bush Jr. and his mother Peggy Charlene Campbell.

Charlie was born on August 17, 1972 in Denison, Texas to Bola Glynn Bush Jr. and Peggy Charlene Campbell. He graduated from Sherman High School in 1990. During his senior year he worked for Dr. Lange at Lange Veterinary Hospital in Sherman, Texas. After Graduation he went to South Plains College in Levelland, Texas to become a Vet Technician. Shortly after Graduation he decided to change his carrier path and joined the United States Air Force, something that he dreamed of as a child. Charlie had a strong passion for serving is country and felt that every man should take pride in doing so. Charlie Served as a Crew chief of F-16's and was Senior Airman E-4 from 1993 – 1997 and was based out of Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho and he was part of the 389th Fighter Squadron and served through "Operation Provide Comfort" – Patrolling the no-fly zone air space in Iraq in 1995 and was also stationed in Turkey.

Charlie served as a Police officer the Durant Police Department. He worked for PFG for over ten years as a driver trainer and was currently an owner-operator truck driver for his company B&S Transportation. He had a passion for hunting, fishing and loved the outdoors. He loved his German Shorthair Pointers Jager, Estelle and Willie and loved to take them Hagerman to run and play in the lake.

Charlie and Janette began dating in 2009 and were engaged in 2010 and were engaged for several years before they married March 1, 2017, in Las Vegas, Nevada. They kept two houses, His in Howe, Texas and Hers in Denison, Texas due to not being married. After 7 years they finally moved in together as a married couple. This was an ongoing family joke for years. They were blessed with three German Shorthair Pointers as their children.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, October 4th, 2024, at Waldo Funeral Home. A funeral and memorial service will be held at the gravesite at Fairview Cemetery in Denison, Texas, on Saturday, October 5th at 2 PM.
