On January 21, 1968 in Sherman, Texas, Charlotte D. Blanton was born to the parentage of Robert and Joyce.
She grew up here and attended the Sherman Public Schools. After graduation she enrolled at Grayson Co. College, earning her degree of Advanced Education.
Charlotte had previously worked at the Oscar Mayer Plant which is now Tyson Foods. She is currently affiliated with the Temple of Hope, Faith and Grace Church of Sherman.
Charlotte was called home suddenly Saturday, September 17, 2016 in Sherman, Texas.
Left to cherish her memory are: her mother Joyce Roberts, brother: Marcus Blanton, half-sister: Natasha Turk, daughter: Joylette Blanton, sons: Donny Benedict and Sterling Blanton, grandchildren: Jordan, Jaylon, Bre'Lei and Kobe, aunts, uncles other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be at Waldo Funeral Home on Friday, September 23rd, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and viewing will continue from 6:30-8:00 PM in the Temple of Hope, Faith and Grace Church, 823 E. Pecan, Sherman, with the family present to celebrate the life and legacy of Charlotte. The Funeral Service will be Saturday 11:00 AM Sept. 24, in the Fellowship Baptist Church, 1615 S. Travis, Sherman, with Rev. Gahlen Warren Host Pastor and Rev. Samuel Castle delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow at the Whiterock Cemetery in the Whiterock Community.
