Chelcee Clarella Nowlin, born Chelcee Clarella Hewitt on March 11, 1998, in Dallas, Texas, was a light to all who knew her. From an early age, Chelcee's life reflected a love for family, children, and serving others. Her warm spirit, caring heart, and joyful personality left a lasting impression on everyone blessed to know her.
Chelcee began her educational journey at John Ireland Elementary School in Dallas before attending Brown Middle School. She later graduated from North Forney High School as a proud member of the Class of 2016. Continuing her pursuit of education, she earned her Associate of Science degree on May 16, 2019.
Faith was an important part of Chelcee's life. She was a member of Metropolitan Tabernacle Baptist Church, where she actively participated in Children's Church and assisted with announcements. Her involvement reflected her willingness to serve and her genuine love for children and her church family.
Chelcee was inspired to become a teacher and began pursuing that calling as a T.A. at Steadham. She continued her journey in education at Williams Elementary School, where she worked with second-grade students. Her natural gift for connecting with children earned her a special place in the hearts of those around her. To her family, she was affectionately known as the "Baby Whisperer". Children were naturally drawn to Chelcee, and she delighted in playing with them, entertaining them, and keeping them active and encouraged. Her cousins especially adored her, each holding special memories of the laughter, love, and joy she brought into their lives. Caring for children was more than something Chelcee did; it was simply a part of who she was.
Love found its way into Chelcee's life through a friendship that began at Lewis Elementary in 2009, and a relationship that began on November 10, 2013. On June 10, 2023, she married the love of her life, Titus Jacobe Nowlin. Together, they built a family and were blessed with two beautiful children, a daughter and a son. Their love and the family they created will forever remain a treasured part of her legacy.
Life of the Party, Phenomenal Mother, Faithful Wife
Chelcee had a special way of bringing life into every room she entered. She could turn a quiet room into one filled with laughter, light, and conversation. Her lively spirit, upbeat personality, and ability to make others laugh were among the many qualities that made her so special. She had a way of making ordinary moments memorable and ensuring that those around her felt the joy of simply being together. Whether through her laughter, playful nature, or loving heart, Chelcee left a little happiness everywhere she went. Though her time here may feel far too short, the joy she brought, the love she shared, and the memories she created will live on forever in the hearts of those left behind who knew and loved her.
