Chris enjoyed umpiring softball games and has officiated all the way to the Olympic level teams. Other hobbies included officiating volleyball with his wife, building his green house or gardening, spending time with his grandchildren, DIY projects around the house, and especially traveling internationally with his wife. Their travels had grown their love for learning and exploring about other cultures and as a result have developed many beautiful relationships around the world.

Chris was a beacon of light in a dark room. He was always encouraging others to become their best and thrived on being an example of a loving husband, strong father, or exemplary grandfather.

Chris' had such a passionate heart for Christ, and one of his final moments, when asked about Jesus, he smiled and said, "I love Jesus".

Christopher has left a legacy of hope for newly diagnosed cardiac cancer patients. Because he endured every treatment option they could offer, newly diagnosed patients are surviving longer. Christopher made a beautiful impact in this world, and we are all at loss, but also at peace knowing that he is indeed in the presence of God.
