Funeral services for Clara Lee Hale, age 91, of Sherman, TX will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 25, 2010 at the Trinity Baptist Church in Sherman. Rev. Jason Anderson will officiate and the burial will follow at Akers Cemetery in Sherman. Services are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home.

Clara passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2010 at Texoma Health Care in Sherman, TX.

She was born on September 10, 1918, in Anna, TX the daughter of Lewis Browder Bell and Nannie Jane Stroud. Clara married Jimmie Hale on December 21, 1935 in Durant, OK. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Sherman.

Clara is survived by her two daughters, Joan Annette Rolen of Denison, TX, and Janice Lee Hale of Lubbock, TX, grandson, Ricky Hill and wife Susan of Sherman, TX, 14 other grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, two sisters, Alma Bell Clark and Ina Marie Robnett both of Sherman, TX, two brothers, Douglas Bell and his wife Peggy of McKinney, TX and Louie Bell and his wife Lavern of Odessa, TX. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, Donald Ray and Ronald Gene Hale, one brother, Weldon Bell and one sister Nina Lorene Branham.

Family night will be on Wednesday, February 24th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Waldo Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Chris Hill, Brian Hill, Braydon Hill, Robert Ashford, Derek Hale and David Rhudy.
