Clara Lou
Woodson
February 28, 1940 – October 25, 2023
Clara Lou Hancock Woodson passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023, with her daughters at her side.
Clara was born February 28, 1940, in a little town called Hanna in Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her father, George W. Hancock and mother, Zampa Childers Hancock, daughter, Kennetta Holder, one brother, George Hancock, Jr. and sister, Leona Longanecker.

There are two nephews, Paul Stark and Brent Stark and wife, Andrea Stark, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. She also leaves behind many dear friends who will miss her.
Most of her life she worked in Olathe, Kansas and was with Safeway Stores for 20 years. She then moved to Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri, where she enjoyed fishing and boating. She was a three-time cancer survivor and known to be the hardest working woman around.
She lived in many towns in Oklahoma before coming to Sherman to be near her daughters.
She resided at the Renaissance where she loved to play Bingo and always brought her precious little poodle named Cozy with her…. needless to say, all her friends there will miss her immensely.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 1st at 2 P.M. at Greenwood Cemetery in Eufaula, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be Marcus Horn, Michael Harris, Jason Deloach, Butch Holder, Larry Ruybal, Wyatt Harris and Hunter Harris.
