Connie Nevins, of Sadler, Texas, passed away on December 20, 2025, at the age of 68. She was born on December 29, 1956.

Connie is survived by her mother, Mary VanHouten; her partner, Ray Shields, her four children, Tori Praul, Raya Praul, Autumn Burgess, and Jared Chavez; and several beloved grandchildren who brought her great joy.

Connie will be remembered for her individuality, her outlook on life, and the quiet wisdom she shared with those around her. One of her favorite sayings was, "All we are, we are. And every day is the start of something beautiful."  & "It is what it is." Those words reflect the way she lived — with acceptance, resilience, and hope.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.  Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
