Graveside services for Constance "Connie" Spath will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at the West Hill Cemetery in Sherman. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at Waldo Funeral Home prior to Graveside services at 11:00 AM.

Connie was born on April 27, 1935 in Sherman, Texas the daughter of Prentiss Virgil Compton and Dorothy (Tate) Compton.

Connie spent the first 20 years of marriage as an Air Force wife traveling the world with Bernie, the love of her life. Connie was always a very kind, talented and artistic person. She enjoyed sewing and creating her own designs for herself and her girls. Later she made stuffed animals and dolls before moving on to quilting and working with wool. She was very talented.

Connie is survived by two daughters Nancy Lynn Meadors and husband Bill of Winter Springs, FL and Lisa Ann Ciabattoni and husband Tony of Dickenson, TX., son Jeffrey Bernard Spath and wife Justine of College Station, TX.,  as well as six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Sarah Brightman and Cynthia Holloway and one sister-in-law, Beverly Ann Hood of Austin, TX.

Nancy, Lisa and Jeff would like to thank the caring and loving staff of both The Delaney Memory Care in League City, TX. and Village Hospice.

Arrangements are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman.
