Obituary

L. Daniel "Danny" Miller died December 22, 2025, at his home in Sherman, TX. He was 56 years old.

Danny was born September 4th, 1969, in Sherman, the youngest child of Charles E. and Geneva (Parker) Miller. He graduated from Sherman High School in 1988 and earned his bachelor's degree from Full Sail University, School of Recording Arts. He married Angela Gann on November 8th, 1998, in Sherman. He was a member of the former Wood St. Church of Christ in Sherman.

Danny began his working career as a pharmacy delivery driver at Miller Pharmacy, which was owned by Charles Miller, his father. After his father retired and closed the pharmacy, Danny went to work for the City of Sherman Fleet Maintenance. He worked for the City of Sherman for 27 years.

Danny had many interests, which included art and music. He loved painting and playing his bass guitar. He was a walking encyclopedia, knowledgeable about so many things.

He loved to laugh and spend time with family and friends. He loved big and was a happy, friendly man. His sweet smile and loving heart will be missed by all who knew him.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Geneva Miller; his grandparents, Ben and Elizabeth Miller, and Dewey and Pauline Parker; aunts, Joyce Williams and Shirley Trotter; and his best friend, Rodney Blair.

Surviving are his wife, Angela Miller of Sherman; brother, Mike Miller and his wife D'Ann of Denison, TX; sister, Melinda Watson and her husband Joe of Howe, TX; nephew, Brandon Miller of North Richland Hills, TX; nieces, Molly Kay Wood and husband Zach of Hamilton, TX, and Mindy L. Watson and husband Josh Daniels of Sherman; nephews, Clint Watson of Sherman, and  J. C. Watson and wife Eden of Howe; mother in law, Sue Jacobs of Sherman; brother in law, Ronnie Gann of Sherman; sister in law, Laura Bellows and husband Rusty of Sherman; nephews, Garrett Bellows and Jacob Bellows both of Sherman; great-nieces and nephews, Kylan Watson, Izaac Wood, Raegan Wood, Halle Wood, Sadie Daniels, Judd Watson, Wirth Watson, Destiny Colley, Jocelyn Daniels, and C. J. Daniels; great-great nieces; A'Mei Watson and Evelyn Colley; great- great nephew, Zayd Turner; Aunt, Mary Ann Smith and husband Danny of Sherman; uncles, Dan Parker and wife Janna of Lindsay, TX, Al Williams  of Fairview, TX; and numerous, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2026, at the Waldo Family Center.

The family would like to express thanks to the City of Sherman, Sherman Police officers, and Sherman Paramedics for all they have done, especially on December 22, 2025.
