Darby Darron Franklin,  father, son, and brother, passed away peacefully at his home on February 24, 2024, at the age of 55. Born on November 21, 1968, Darby lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments with his family and friends.

Darby had a special place in his heart for his fur babies, Daisy and Little Bit, who brought him immeasurable joy throughout the years.

He is survived by his son, Chad Franklin, of Pottsboro, Texas.  His loving mother, Nancy Turney, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and his sisters Tabitha (Greg) Hamm of Mt Vernon, Kentucky, and Karie (Rodney) Parnell of Sherman, Texas. Darby adored his nieces and nephews, Ben and Olivia Hamm of Mt Vernon, Kentucky, Hayden, Abel and Lia Parnell of Sherman, Texas, and found immense joy in their accomplishments and milestones.

In his leisure time, Darby found solace in his hobbies, which included fishing, visiting the casino, and passionately cheering on the Cowboys. His zest for life and adventurous spirit will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Though Darby may no longer be with us in person, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the warmth of cherished memories and the eternal love of his family.
