Drucilla "Darlene" Bruce, 76, born on March 31, 1947, of Whitesboro, TX, joined her parents and sister in Heaven on July 2, 2023, while surrounded by her family after a decade long battle with ALS.

Darlene was married to John Bruce for 37 years. She was a property manager and retired from Sanger Mobile Home Park. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking, motorcycling, and loved her family fiercely as she was the rock of our family.  Although, retirement and traveling around the southern United States with her husband on their many adventures was her most favorite period of her life. She truly enjoyed being a Happy Camper.

Darlene is survived by her beloved husband, John, and their faithful dog/fifth child, Jax.  Her son, Kevin, and his wife, Rebecca, and their children Kenneth, Zachary, Shartina, Emily, Rachael, Marius, and Allaryce.   Her son, Keith, and his fiancée, Kandy, and his four sons, Tyler, Dakota, Khrystian, and Kyndale.  Her bonus daughter, Kerry, and her husband, Geoffrey, and their four sons, Nicholas, Alec, Geoffrey, and Johnathan. Her daughter, Amanda, and her husband, J.R., and their children, Ashton, Caitlin, Andrew, Cameron, and Cadence.  She was also blessed with six great-grandchildren and one more on the way.

Services will be held at Waldo Funeral Home, located at 619 Travis Street, Sherman, Texas 75090.  In lieu of flowers or plants, the family respectfully requests that you please donate to the ALS Association at www.als.org to help stop this vicious disease.
