Memorial Services for Darlene "MiMi" , age 78, of Sherman, Texas will be held at Waldo Funeral Home on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 2 p.m.

Darlene passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 15, 2025 lovingly surrounded by family.

She was born November 19, 1946, in Augusta, Georgia,  the daughter of William Thomas Taylor and Lillie Thompson. She grew up in Sherman, Tx and graduated from Sherman High School. Darlene was known for her caring nature and her beautiful smile. She worked in the medical field and loved what she did helping people. She loved her family and having get togethers on her back patio, especially Easter.

Darlene  is preceded in death by her parents, her brother George Taylor, and her first husband of 24 years,  Darrell Scott Jones.

Darlene  is survived by husband of 31 years. Thomas Vaughn. Daughters, Tracy Morales, Ginger Waller, and Angela Jones. Grandchildren Chelsea, Victoria, Kaila, Payten, Jared, Gaven, Logan and Jordyn. Great grandchildren, Kellen, Corbin, Izabella,  Asher, Elizjah, An'yliah and Chloe. Stepchildren, Kay Traweek and Robert Vaughn.
