IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Delois Fay
Perry
May 25, 1955 – December 20, 2023
With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Delois F. Perry on December 20, 2023. After a courageous battle with breast cancer, she departed from this world at the age of 68. Her strength, resilience, and unwavering spirit will forever be remembered and inspire all who knew her.
Delois was born into the loving arms of Elvin Perry Sr. and Myrna Perry. She grew up alongside her siblings Brenda K. Perry, Elvin Perry Jr., and Glenda S. Thomas. She now joins her parents and her sister, Brenda, in the realm of eternal peace.
She leaves behind her younger brother, Elvin Perry Jr., and her younger sister, Glenda S. Thomas. Glenda's husband, Bobby J. Thomas, also mourns Delois's loss. Delois was a beloved aunt to her niece, Renee Thomas, and a cherished great-aunt to Antonio Thomas and Harley Thomas-Angeles. Her numerous cousins and friends will miss her dearly.
Delois was a woman of simple pleasures. She found joy in coloring, a hobby that allowed her to express her creativity and vibrant personality. Her collection of stuffed animals was a testament to her childlike spirit and love for life. She had a knack for makeup, always looking radiant and full of life. Delois was also known for her love of soda pop, a small indulgence that brought her happiness.
In honor of Delois's life, visitation will be held from 1-5 pm on December 26, 2023, at Waldo Funeral Home. We invite all her loved ones to come and share their memories of her. Funeral services will be held at Waldo Funeral Home on December 27, 2023, at 11 am. We will gather to celebrate her life and bid her a final farewell. Reverend Jimmy Bogan will officiate the service.
In the wake of Delois's passing, we find comfort in the love and joy she brought into our lives. Her memory will forever be etched in our hearts.
Rest in peace, Delois. You are loved and will always be remembered.
Burial will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman.
