Delpha Crawford, 85 of Sherman, Texas went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. She was born April 2, 1936 in Oklahoma City to the late Lloyd and Verna Isley.   On November 9, 1952 she married the love of her life James Crawford.  Delpha stood by her husband's side as they shared their life and ministry together for 66 wonderful years.  She taught school at Nashville Christian Academy in Nashville, Arkansas.  She was a strong Christian lady and one of God's greatest prayer warriors.  She was very meek and full of compassion and love.  Her life was devoted to caring for her family. She was a charter member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Delpha was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Verna Isley, Brothers Darrell and Meryl Isley, Grandson Michael Crawford, husband James Crawford, and son Timothy Crawford.

Delpha is survived by 3 sons and daughter in laws: David Crawford and wife Marlene of Dardanelle, Arkansas, Gary Crawford and wife Celia of Harrison, Arkansas, Aaron Crawford and wife Tina of Sherman, Texas.  6 Grandchildren; Jeremy Crawford, Amanda Brown, Jacob Crawford, Lauren Taylor, Ashley Fowler, and Joshua Crawford.  8 Great Grandchildren; J.T Taylor, Will Taylor, Natalie Brown, Madison Crawford, Isaac Crawford, Charity Fowler, Samuel Fowler and Barrett Taylor; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends who loved her dearly.

Funeral services will be held Saturday April 10, 2021 at 10:30am at Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, TX with Rev. Gary Crawford and David Crawford officiating.  Interment will follow at Friendship Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Friday April 9, 2021 from 6-8pm at Waldo Funeral Home.
