Dollie Huntsman

Sherman- Funeral for Dollie Brunette Huntsman will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 27 at Waldo Funeral Home.  Rev. Danny Wood will officiate.  Burial will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park with David Huntsman, Leonard Huntsman. Aaron Huntsman, Jason Huntsman, Timmy Huntsman, and Steve Williams serving as pallbearers.  Mrs. Huntsman, 89, passed away Monday, January 23 at Texoma Healthcare in Sherman.

Dollie was born October 19, 1933 in Calera to the late Logan and Stella (Raines) Chelf.  She graduated from Sherman High School in 1952 and worked as the personnel manager at K-Mart for many years.  She enjoyed quilting and was a member of West Sherman Baptist Church.

Dollie was preceded in death by her parents, Logan and Stella Chelf; husband, Herbert Huntsman; and one daughter, Becky Hagan.  She is survived by her children, Beverly Moore of Hugo, Tommy Huntsman of Sherman, and Carolyn Huntsman of Sherman; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren, and ten great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday at Waldo Funeral Home.  Memorials may be made to the West Sherman Baptist Church.  The register book can be signed online at waldofuneralhome.com.
