Donald Kunz, 82, was born in Buffalo, New York in September 7,1939 and died Sunday July 10, 1922, in Sherman, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Georgia W. (Eppler) Kunz. Don has three children by his former wife, Barbara; Mary and husband, Winford Cupples of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Barbara King of Catoosa, Oklahoma, and the late Daniel Kunz; stepdaughter, Lisa Smith of Leonard, Texas; and his brother Jim Kunz and wife Marge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Evelyn Kunz, his son Daniel; great-grandson David (D.J.) King, Junior, and brothers, Bob, and Lenny Kunz.

His grandchildren are Christopher and wife, Daniel Cupples; Jeremy and wife, Jody Cupples; Matthew and wife, Hallie King; and Amanda King. Great-grandchildren are Lilly, Nikki, Maddie, and Raelynn, as well as nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Don worked in the Chevrolet Plant in Buffalo, New York, as a security guard in Dallas, Texas, and numerous law enforcement positions in Wyoming County Sheriff's Office in New York, Winkleman, Superior, Hayden, and Miami, Globe, and in Arizona. He also completed Emergency Medical Technician

Training and worked as a volunteer fireman in River Road.
