Donna Karen Fallis died of lung cancer, August 23, 2024 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born January 22, 1957, in Franklin, Louisiana. Her dad moved the family to Sherman, Texas in 1963. She attended Sherman High School and graduated in 1975. She loved drawing and was very good at it. She met Gary Falis in March of 2007 and married September 28, 2007. She became a stay-at-home grandmother where she watched 3 of her grandkids before and after school and continued that until her death.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion Farrell Sr. and Earlene Clifton Farrell and sister Lisa Farrell.

Donna leaves behind Husband Gary Fallis of Sherman, Texas, daughter Tristan and husband Paul Roberts of Burneyville, Ok, daughter Wendy Smith and Robert of Howe, Son Michael Wilson of Sherman, Texas, son Corey Rice and wife Ashley of Slocomb, Alabama, Stepdaughter Rebecca Richardson and husband Travis of Fort Smith, Arkansas. Grandchildren; Peyton Bissell and husband J.D. of Durant, Oklahoma, Zach Mitchell of Southmayd, Texas, Lexie Moulton and husband Eli of Red Oak, Texas, Hunter Roe and fiancée Mazi McFatridge of Marietta, Oklahoma, Jeffery Smith, Alyssa Goss and Marissa Goss of Howe, Texas. Payton Rice of Slocomb, Alabama, Noah Wilson of Sherman, Texas, great grandkids Tealie and Noah, and Brother Marion Farrell Jr. of Collinsville, Texas, Sisters Kathy Hightower and husband Stephen of Sherman, Wendy Grady and husband Gary of Sherman, Texas, and sister-in-law Priscilla Hoover and husband Dave of Graham, Texas.

Donna wished for an Irish wake/ celebration of life with family only. It will be held on August 31, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the family home.

In lieu of flowers, she would like donations to be made to Salvation Army, her favorite charity.
