Doris Murley Carmichael, age 86 of Sherman passed away on March 1, 2024 in Sherman, TX.

She was born in Van Alstyne, TX the daughter of Willard and Lois (Brown) Murley. Doris had a love for bowling which led her to become a professional. She also loved gardening and playing cards. Doris was loved by all her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Cole and husband Rick of Sherman, three brothers, Glen Murley and wife Debbie of Pottsboro, Wayne Murley and wife Jacque of Greenville and Jack Murley of Pottsboro, two granddaughters, Eve and Cassie Fedorovich. Doris is also Survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Tom Pinion, son Ricky Pinion, second husband Mike Carmichael, grandson Ty Pinion, brother Weldon Murley, sister Pat Koon and her good friend Jack Cannaday.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM March 5th following visitation all at the Waldo Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow at West Hill Cemetery in Sherman.
