Dorothy Sue Clinton Brock
Dorothy Clinton Brock, 90 Years, 11 months and 21 days old, died August 7, 2026, in Frisco, Texas.
Services will be held Friday, August 14, 2026, at Waldo Funeral Home chapel with family visitation at 10:00 a.m. followed by service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Sherman, TX. Rev. Kevin Clinton will officiate. Pallbearers will be Danny Brouer, Matthew Brouer, Meredith Potts, Jake Tramel, Will Tramel, and David Bell.
Dorothy was born in Sadler, TX on Aug. 17, 1935, to Roscoe Verlin Clinton, Sr. and Vinnie Cowgur Clinton. She was the youngest of ten children. The family moved to Sherman in 1943. She was a 1954 graduate of Sherman High School. She was a lifelong Methodist.
She is survived by her husband Bobby, of 71 years of Frisco, TX. She is also survived by two daughters, Julie Brouer and husband, Danny of Columbia, TN, with grandson Matthew Brouer of Simpsonville, KY, granddaughter Melissa Pacco and husband Matt of Columbia, TN, a great-grandson Wyatt Lewis Pacco and great-granddaughter Olivia Anne Pacco, also of Columbia, TN., Daughter, Jennifer Tramel and husband Will of Frisco, TX. granddaughter, Natalie Grace Tramel of Frisco, TX and grandson, Jake Nolen Tramel of Kings Point NY.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, all siblings and their spouses: Princess & Jack Akin of Sadler, TX, A. M. & Marie Clinton, of Savoy, TX, Carlton and Lucille Clinton, of Sherman, TX, Sidney and June Clinton of Arlington, TX, Moody and Pauline Clinton, of Van Alstyne, TX, Vera Faye and JC Anderson, of Tom Bean, TX, Junior and Doris Clinton, of Sherman, TX, Naomi and Bobby Bell, of Sherman, TX plus numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She married her high school sweetheart on April 29, 1955, and they made a wonderful life together being married 71 years. Dorothy and Bobby enjoyed traveling in their motor home and a 5th Wheel Trailer after retiring. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter her entire life.
