Elaine Talley Cross, age 64, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2025, in Sherman, Texas. Born on April 14, 1961, Elaine lived a life marked by deep love for her family, steadfast faith, and devoted service to her community.

Affectionately known as GiGi to her granddaughters, Elaine was a beloved mother, sister, and grandmother. Her greatest joy came from time spent with her family, and her nurturing spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Elaine was a proud graduate of S & S High School and went on to build a respected career in human resources at the American Bank of Texas. Known for her integrity, professionalism, and compassion, she made a lasting impact on colleagues and friends alike.

A devoted member of Grayson Bible Baptist Church, Elaine gave generously of her time as a volunteer and was a constant presence in the life of her church. Her strong faith and servant's heart were evident in everything she did.

Elaine is survived by her loving children, Lindsey (AJ) McGlynn and Jacob Miller; her cherished granddaughters, Charli and Stella McGlynn; and her brothers, Paul Talley and Mike Talley. She was preceded in death by her parents, James W. and Doris Talley.

Details of a memorial service will be announced at a later date. Elaine's life was a testament to kindness, faith, and quiet strength. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
