Elida R. Epperson was called home by her Lord on July 5, 2026. She was born in San Antonio, Texas to Jose and Consuelo Dominguez Ramon on November 5, 1933.

Mrs. Epperson retired in 1994 as a Claims Representative with the Social Security Administration after 30 years of Federal Service.

She is survived by her son Stephen Epperson, brother Arthur Ramon (Caren), sister-in-law Betty Ramon, brother-in-law Larry Epperson, Seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and daughter-in-law Kim Cart Epperson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lloyd Epperson, her sons Robert, Charles, and Michael Epperson, brothers Joe, Elias, and Benny Ramon, sisters Minerva Ramon Muraida, Olga Ramon Schmidt, and daughter-in-law Rhonda Langford Epperson.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Dorchester, Texas where she leaves wonderful and faithful friends.

The visitation will be at Dorchester Baptist from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026. The funeral will start at 11 am. Burial will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park.
