Ellen Virginia (Fuller) Covington passed from life, surrounded by family, on Monday, August 21, 2023. She was born in Rufe, Oklahoma, October 13, 1928, to Ernest True and Viola (Stephens) Fuller.

Ellen graduated from Grant High School, Grant, OK, on May 14, 1947; and earned her BS in Education from Southeastern State College, Durant, OK, on September 11, 1963.

Ellen was a teacher for over 30 years in schools across Oklahoma, Texas, and the Zuni Reservation in New Mexico. She retired in 1994.

She "loved her family more than they will ever know, with all her heart". Ellen loved country music, dancing, sports of any kind, horse racing, telling stories, kids, gardening and animals of all kinds.

Ellen is survived by her sister, Billie June Bledsoe; son Michael Barker (Sue); son Kelly Lynn (Cyndi); granddaughter Amanda Carter (Sam); grandson Blane Lynn; granddaughter Sara Standish (Jill); grandson Daniel Barker (Lisa); nieces Lynette Boston and Kathy McGreevy; 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents Ernest and Viola Fuller, brothers Lloyd Fuller, Earl James Fuller, and sisters Lois Bridwell, Delma Fay Fuller, and Lula Mae Martin.

Ellen's final resting place is the Wade Cemetery, Wade OK, alongside her parents and other family members. She will have a private burial service with family.
