Evelyne Eldridge, 69, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2026, at her home in Sherman, Texas.

She was born on January 6, 1957, in Sherman, Texas. She was the daughter of Herman and Martha Hicks. She attended Sherman High School where she met and married Jerry Don Rodgers having two children. She lived in Sherman and on the farm in Randolph for most of her life. She loved watching birds and working outside with her plants. She also had a love for drawing and coloring pictures.

She is survived by Jerry Don Rodgers, sister Jackie Fox and husband Nickey, son Jeffrey Dean Rodgers and Jamie, grandkids Dezirae, Joselynn, Scarlett, Cammeron and Charlie, great grandkids Conrad and Zayden along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by Herman Hicks, Martha Hicks, and Julia Ann Rodgers.
