Forrest Marr passed away Monday, January 13, 2025 in Denison, Texas. He was born June 21, 1941, the son of Forrest Morgan Marr Sr. and Nora Jean Watson Marr.

He married the love of his life, Innette Sofey on February 8, 1964.

Forrest enjoyed fishing and golfing and any other outdoor activity that his dog could tag along beside him. He greatly valued community and always created the perfect places for family and friends to gather. All were welcome.

Forrest Marr is survived by his wife, Innette and their children Cindy & Mark Kuneman, Scott & Kim Marr, Kimberly & Chris Gillespie, his Grandchildren, Mark Kuneman II, Samantha Talley, Drew Marr, Olivia Marr, Madeline Marr, Courtney Gillespie, Caroline Gillespie, Kaitlin Gillespie, Will Gillespie, his Great-Grandchildren, Kit Kuneman, Porter Kuneman and Charlotte Talley.

Pallbearers will be Joe Brown, Mark Kuneman II, Harrison Talley, Drew Marr, Will Gillespie, Spence Redwine.

The family will receive friends at Waldo Funeral Home on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be at Waldo Funeral Home on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 10 a.m. Gene Amerson will officiate. Burial will follow at West Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to D.A.W.G. (Denison Animal Welfare Group) in honor of Forrest's love of animals.
