Frances was born May 21, 1940, in Denison, Texas, the daughter of John and Louise Woods Malvern.

Here she grew up and attended Terrell High School and received her formal education.  Early in her life along with her family she became affiliated with Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Denison.

Frances (Grumpy and Co. Chief she was sometimes called) finished her schooling and went to work at Texas Instruments and remained there for 35 years.  After leaving Texas Instruments she became a Kindergarten Foster Grandparent for 12 years at Terrell Elementary School.

She loved her Texas Rangers and the Dallas Cowboys and was their best fan.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents and sister Sharon Malvern.

Those left with fond memories are her daughter, Diane (Tonio) Willis; sisters, Helen Lawson, Gloria Malvern, Josephine (Robert) Softly, and Johnnie Nero; brothers, John (Judy) Malvern, Frank Lyons, Kevin (Evette) Malvern, Wilbert Malvern, Sr., and Larry Porter; special nephew, Barry Malvern and a host of nieces and nephews who loved and adored her.  Along with other relatives and many friends.

Frances M. White, age 81 of Denison, ascended to her eternal home Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison.

A public visitation (come and go) will be Friday, June 11, 2021 from 1 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Waldo Funeral Home, Sherman.

The funeral service will be Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 11 A.M. in the Trinity Lighthouse Church, Denison, with Rev. Raymond England, Host Pastor and Bishop Larry Goodman, officiating.  Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Denison.
