Freda Chesser passed away November 4, 2023.  She was born October 9, 1938, in Whitewright, Tx to Riley Gideon and Ethel Gideon.

In 1955 she married Haskell Chesser and they raised three children, Donald Chesser, Glenda Chesser Booher and Jennifer Chesser McClain.

Freda retired from Texas Instruments & Raytheon as a head secretary.

Freda loved singing and until she came down with Alzheimer's, she was involved in her church, Loving Baptist Church in Sherman.

Freda is survived by son Donald Chesser and wife Sandi, four grandkids Melanie Chesser Gann, Jason Stiles, Krisha Young and Lindsey Dunlap and eight great grandkids.  Daughter Glenda Chesser Booher and Rex Booher, grandkids Brandan Yarbrough, Megan Fanning, Melanie Smith, Melissa Riggs, Meranda Chapman and 14 great grandkids.  Daughter Jennifer McClain and Scott Jackson and three grandkids Chris Chesser Rodriguez, Nicki Rodriguez, and Amara Jackson.

She was preceded in death by husband Haskell Chesser, parents Riley Gideon and Ethel Gideon, brothers L.D. Gideon, Bobby Gideon, Charles Gideon, Billy Joe Gideon, Betty Gideon Massey and great granddaughter Destiny Golden.

While Freda was of sound mind, she told the family she did not want a funeral service.  She will be laid to rest beside Haskell Chesser at Oak Hill Cemetery in Whitewright, Texas.
