Gary Jeffery "Jeff" Johnson age 48, of Pottsboro passed away Wednesday, May 15th in Conroe, Texas.

Jeff was born December 8, 1975, in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Gary Dean Johnson and Clarine Ruth Mitchell Ernest.  He attended high school in Keller, Texas.  He married his wife Sharmey Ann (Bergman) Johnson on August 4, 2001, in Colorado Springs, CO.  Jeff worked for DOT Foods as a truck driver.

Jeff was a loving and devoted Husband, Dad, Papa, Uncle and friend.  He was the king of jokes and was a naturally talented poet.  He enjoyed fishing, bull riding and hill climb racing.  He especially loved to spend time in his shop tinkering on various projects.

He was preceded in death by his mother Clarina Mitchell; sister Leanne Kauffman; grandparents Ed John and wife Opal; grandfather Wilbur Johnson; grandmother Ruth Ernest and husband Clarence.

He is survived by his wife Shar Johnson of Pottsboro, TX; daughter Kaylyn Stone and husband Anthony of Fort Cavazos, TX; granddaughters Aria Stone and Ava Stone; dad Big Jeff Mitchell and wife Sarah of Azle, TX; father Gary Johnson and wife Theresa of Colorado Springs, TX; sister Courtney Johnson of Saginaw, TX and her daughter Lainey of Decatur, TX; sister Noelle Oliver and husband Josh of Haslet, TX and their sons Eli, John Luke, and Kaleb; sister Tanya Johnson of Colorado Springs, CO; cousins Shawn Johnson and wife Tracey, Steven Johnson, Mandy Freeman and husband Jesse and their sons Trystan and Gage all of Colorado Springs, CO; uncles Doug Ernest of Fort Collins, CO, Dana Ernest of Lake Tahoe, NV and Gene Johnson of Colorado Springs, CO.

Jeff loved fiercely and was loved deeply by his family and many friends.
